Drain Cleaning & Sewer Service

Slow drains are a nuisance; a backed-up main line is an emergency. We clear kitchen and bathroom drains, tubs and showers, floor drains, and main sewer lines, and we do it with the right tool for the blockage — cabling for a simple stoppage, hydro jetting when grease or scale has coated the pipe wall, and a sewer camera inspection when the line keeps failing and nobody has said why.

Signs the problem is the main line, not the fixture

More than one fixture backing up at once · a toilet that gurgles when the washing machine drains · water coming up in a tub or shower when you flush · sewage smell in the yard. When it’s the main, clearing one drain won’t fix it.

Sump Pump Repair & Installation

A sump pump only matters on the day it’s needed, and that’s the day you find out it failed. We repair and replace sump pumps, replace stuck floats and worn check valves, and install new pits and pumps where water keeps finding the basement or crawlspace.

Test yours before storm season: pour a bucket of water into the pit and confirm the pump kicks on, moves the water, and shuts off cleanly. If it hums without pumping, runs constantly, or does nothing at all, call us before the next heavy rain rather than during it.

Repiping, Water Lines & Gas Lines

Plenty of older Birmingham-area homes are still on original galvanized or early plastic supply lines. If you’re seeing rusty water, pinhole leaks in more than one place, or pressure that keeps dropping, patching is money down a hole. We do whole-house repiping in PEX — flexible, corrosion-proof, and far less destructive to walls than a copper repipe.

We also repair and replace main water lines from the meter to the house, and install and repair gas lines for ranges, dryers, grills, fireplaces and generators.

Gas work is not a place to save money. We’re licensed for it, we pressure-test every line we touch, and if you smell gas we want you out of the building and on the phone to us from outside.

The expensive leaks are the ones you can’t see. We locate hidden leaks — under slabs, behind walls, beneath yards — using electronic leak detection rather than opening up your house to go looking.

Garbage disposals are the one people most often try twice before calling: if it hums but won’t turn, something is jammed in the impeller; if it’s silent, it’s usually the reset or the switch; if it leaks, it’s the gasket or the unit itself. We’ll tell you honestly whether it’s a repair or a replacement — disposals are cheap enough that repairing an old one is often the worse deal.
